Proactively Prevent Problems

Are you proactively ensuring the safety of your customers, or do you wait for undesirable results of mandatory provincial/state tests? We believe, as you do, that waiting until a problem occurs only ensures that unsafe water has been delivered to customers, and this is unacceptable.

Sometimes suspicious mandatory test results spur further tests that finally show no contamination. What happened? The lab test was probably not wrong. For example, small parts of biofilms growing somewhere in the drinking water treatment facility can periodically dislodge, leading to a spike in contamination. These spikes can enter the drinking water distribution system without being detected, posing a serious yet unseen concern for customers' health. Innosol technology is the only one which can locate areas where biofilms can grow in-situ.

Typical periodic, sampling of small quantities of water is unable to reliably detect spike contamination occurrences and cannot pinpoint the source of contamination. The Innosol instrumentation can detect extremely low concentrations of biological contamination (1 part in 1000 L or 250 gal) that exist in the vicinity of biofilm growth when no dislodging event has occurred. Using the in-situ Innosol instrumentation in inline mode, we trace contamination to its source and do much more.

At the same time the Innosol instrumentation can work with extremely high concentrations of suspended solids (millions of particles per cc), which is of great importance for direct in-situ inspection of source water entering the water treatment facility.
